Coach a bee! You train its stats, then your bee battles it out with opposing bees. The bees' AIs are made using deep reinforcement learning.

Skills:

Poke: a quick attack that darts in and out a little bit

Extend: a slower attack that lasts a longer time. Works well with a slow attack speed

Stab: a heavy attack that does a ton of damage if it hits, but is easily punished if dodged

Swipe: a sideswipe. Does more damage if the bee is moving fast while it hits the opponent.

Guard: the bee guards, taking much less damage if it's hit, and opening the opponent up for an easy counter. However, it can be countered by getting hit from behind or by grab.

Grab: a grab. Does more damage if the bee is bigger than the opponent, and less if it's smaller. Also, counters guard.

Stats:

Size: How big your bee is. Helps your bee have more range. A bigger bee also weighs more, which means it will hit opponents further, and not get hit as far by its opponent.

HP: How much damage your bee can take before getting KO'd.

Attack: How much damage your bee does when it lands a hit. More damage also means more hitstun, so it can help prevent the opponent from getting an easy counter everytime they get hit. Also, attack means bees get hit further.

Defense: Reduces damage your bee takes when it gets hit.  Since it reduces damage, it also reduces hitstun, which helps your bee counterattack after getting hit and stop it from getting combo'd. Defense also increases your bee's weight, like size does, so it doesn't get hit as far.

Attack Speed: Your bee can attack faster. A faster attack speed is harder to punish, and if it gets high enough you can even combo your opponent, hitting them again and again without them being able to recover.

Speed: How fast your bee moves. Having a hard time getting a hit in on Scared Sally? Maybe your bee needs some more speed!

Turn Speed: Your bee can turn around faster. Surprisingly useful stat! Helps your bee maneuver to face the opponent. And, if your bee has low balance, it'll need a high turn speed so that it can change directions quickly.

Balance: The more balance, the more a bee can move backwards and sideways. A bee with 100 balance can move freely in any direction; a bee with zero balance can only move forward. A bee with high balance can retreat to avoid getting hit. Works especially well with high Speed.

Reflexes: this determines how fast the bee can react. The higher it is, the quicker your bee's reactions will be. Later on this stat makes a big difference.

What about the astrological signs?

Each sign is actually a different AI. They were trained together and play at a similar level, but had slightly different hyperparameters, leading to a slight difference in playstyle... maybe... I think.

I'm sorry coach... I wasn't good enough...

Yay, I won!

The game clearly lacks some annoying bee sounds! Otherwise it was fun!
